A Swedish Pop Journey

Jam Planet was formed in 1995 by songwriters Jan Tosh Andersson and Patrik Svensson. That same year, they connected with vocalist Caroline Jensen, and the collaboration took off quickly. In the early days, they also worked with Nadir, later known as RedOne (producer for Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez), on a few tracks that were never released.
Musically, Jam Planet blends Europop and Reggae-Pop, creating a sound reminiscent of Ace of Base—catchy melodies with rhythmic influences.
The trio soon landed a record deal with FMR Records and released their debut single, Living in a Dream, in 1998, distributed by Border Music. Their talent also caught the attention of Warner Chappell, where industry legend Roy Colgate took an interest in their work. This led to the release of their album in Japan in 2000 under Wood Records, earning them radio play and recognition.

Jam Planet’s music was also featured on several compilation albums across Europe and the USA, marking their place in the international pop scene.
Jam Planet was released before the digital music era and is therefore not available on digital platforms. However, Stockholm Soundroom has placed the group on hold for potential future productions and interest.
